Acne is one if not the most common skin condition not only in the United States, but all over the world. While common in teenagers, acne can occur at any age. Triggered by heredity, hormones, or environmental factors, it’s a condition that sometimes responds well to home remedies such as the ones listed below.
The salicylic acid in aspirin is the same ingredient found in most over-the-counter acne products. Make a paste with a crushed aspirin and water. Apply the paste to the affected area and rinse it off with warm water after about 10 minutes.
Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil has anti-inflammatory properties that may help with acne. Place a few drops on a cotton pad and dab it over the blemish. It can be left on overnight and then rinsed off in the morning.
